Morphology
“I keep seeing this little guy around my shelter. Does it expect food and protection from me? …it’s been a long time since anyone ever expected anything from me at all”.
Story: once again you are hunting and scavenging amidst the ruined world. Unexpectedly, a peculiar creature comes close to your base. It’s weak and hungry and at its death’s door already. Will you help it? Will you feed it, offer it morphing materials and play with your new “pet” so it won’t get lonely?
You can raise it as a tough warrior. You can make it your closest aide. You can create the ultimate predator who won’t be needing anything or anyone ever again - including its former caretaker.
The choice is yours. But first, let’s just keep it alive.
***
- Raise a tiny morphling into a powerful independent being.
- Ration food, clothes and medicine to help it grow.
- Explore the ruined city in search of resources.
- Unlock all of the unique evolution forms.
***
Controls: mouse. Click on the morphling to interact with it, drag-n-drop items to balance its stats, scavenge for extra resources – but remember to keep your morph fed and healthy in the meantime.
You won’t always understand what it wants or needs at the moment, but you’ll get there eventually.
We value independent exploration and discovery in games. However, if you ever feel you need more help, please check the in-game tutorial. Some extra hints before you start:
- Mood meter matters most during evolution. Think of it as humanity.
- Fruits and Meat both satiate hunger and also work as mood control.
- Fabric and/or Armor are essential in preparing for an evolution.
- Medicine helps when your pet is ill… but it has other uses, too.
- Toy and Interaction may seem like pointless options at first, but they have hidden effects depending on the route you’re taking.
- Oh, and you can hit [Escape] to skip text during interludes ;)

MAKE A SKIP DIALOGUE BUTTON
Its the esc button
How do I keep the Heart value and the Bone value from depleting? Suddenly, all of the items that I am able to give the Morphling stop affecting the Heart/Bone values once I evolve the Morphling to the 'Urchin' stage, and it's very tedious to get back to that stage; I cannot learn anything through the suggested avenue of trial-and-error when an error is so punishing that I have to restart from the beginning.
Do I need to vary the Food/Materials/Interactive Items that I give it? But then that prevents me from being able to focus on any evolutionary path! I apologize if I sound excitable/angry, but I simply wanted to unwind for a short time and here I am being bested by a point-and-click game.
i cant see any icons
how do you get more fuel im running out of it?
i love this game so much!
Looks very nice, like a game boy advance game! Love the art style!
(For some reason didn't work on safari)
took a long time but I got them all
quick guide
for the top one focus on food and fabric, no armor, no meat, use toys, and interact.
for the top 2nd from the top you want a mix of everything, leaning more toward happiness and with more fruit and toys used.
for the 2nd from the bottom it's similar to the above but don't interact and use medicine instead of toys, additionally lean more toward meat and less toward happiness
for the bottom, basically scavenge and feed only meat, medicine, and armor, avoid everything else at all costs
I won't give names but I figured it took me a long enough time for me to do it all so I figured I'd help everyone else. The dev is welcome to delete this but more ways to identify each path and maybe hints on how to get toward them might help more.
The bottom one was the only one I had a hard time getting. I actually swapped between meat, fruit, toy, and armor making sure to keep happiness just above empty.
I really like this. I have trouble getting anything but the Guardian, but it's very interesting. I wish there was more!
I've gone about 7 or 8 times and have either failed or gotten guardian
just got another end one
Interesting :)
This is a beautiful game!! Really enjoyed it!! Can't figure out what to do different enough to get the beast ending
Thank you! The "beastly" routes mostly depend on low humanity score and giving armor plates to the morphling. Don't drop it too low though, else your specimen might get rebellious and escape ;)
